| Academic Standards

The Archdiocese of Washington develops standards for students to achieve in subjects offered in the Catholic schools of the archdiocese. Curriculum, instruction and assessment are based on national standards set by professional organizations and focus on the individual growth of each child. St. Peter’s School strives to meet or exceed these standards. |

Note: Standards for algebra and geometry are listed separately because some seventh and eighth grade students are in those classes.

| St. Peter’s School is an Archdiocese of Washington Catholic School. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools (MSCES). St. Peter’s is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). |
