It is a requirement of the Child Protection Policy of the Archdiocese of  Washington  and of St. Peter's School, that anyone wishing to volunteer at the school must complete the steps below. Please call the school counselor, Mrs. Bonifant at 301-843-1955, if you have any questions.

1. Register online (http://www.virtusonline.org/)for a Child Protection Training Session. For organization, select Washington DC (Archdiocese). Designate yourself as a volunteer at St. Peter (411) (Waldorf).
2. Read the Child Protection Policy Booklet which can be obtained from the  school office or online. Sign the last page in the booklet and return it to the office
3. Complete the Volunteer Application Form (available at the school) and return it to the school. The Volunteer Application Form is also available online.
4. Call 301-853-5363 or visit http://www.adw.org/employment/fingerprint.asp to schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted. Steps 1,2 &3 must be completed before scheduling a fingerprinting appointment.
5. After being fingerprinted, submit your receipt as confirmation that the fingerprinting has been completed.
