TUITION AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE 2012-13 SCHOOL YEAR
Please note that unlike many other Catholic schools, we charge no additional universal fees such as book, registration, and technology fees. This approach gives everyone a clearer picture of the cost of a St. Peter’s School education.
Full cost tuition is $7,060 per student
Pre-K through 8th Grade
Our “Living Our Catholic Faith Scholarship” (LOCF Scholarship) is offered automatically to registered, participating members of any Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Washington. The amount of the scholarship for 2012-13 is $1,945 for all students in grades PreK-8. There is a one-time, non-refundable new family application fee of $250.
*Re-registration for returning students begins on Monday, January 23rd with a deadline on Friday, February 3rd.
**Registration for NEW families will be Monday, February 6th at 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
DOWN PAYMENT
A down payment equivalent to one-tenth of the total tuition is due for all students as specified below.
For returning students, the down payment is due by April 30, 2012.
All returning students who have returned their registrations by February 3, 2012, and for
whom this one-month payment has been received by April 30, 2011, are guaranteed a space
at St. Peter’s School in the 2012-13 school year. Registration and this payment will be
accepted later, but there will be no guaranteed space and possible waiting lists.
For new students, the down payment is due at registration.
In addition to one month’s tuition, the new family application fee of $250 is due at the time
of registration and is non-refundable (unless a student is wait-listed and no space becomes
available, in which case the $250 will be refunded fully).
PAYMENT PLANS
Plan A: One tuition payment in full by June 29, 2012.
Plan B: A payment of half the tuition by June 29, 2012, and the other half by
November 30, 2012. Please note there is a 1% fee charged for this option.
Plan C: Tuition payments will be paid through the FACTS Tuition Management Company in
nine monthly installments that begin in June 2012 and there is a 2% fee charged
for this option.
Plan D: Tuition payments will be paid through the FACTS Tuition Management Company in
eleven monthly installments that begin in May 2012 and there is a 2.25% fee
charged for this option.
